Class Format/Schedules: In most cases, Boston University online programs are completely online. Classes include online lecture, videos, interactive animations, and discussion boards. Students submit regular assignments including homework, projects and papers, through Web interface. Most courses also integrate secure online exams. Most courses operate on a seven-week schedule. Online students typically able to take two courses per semester by taking one seven-week course at a time. The university recently introduced an iPhone App for distance learning.

Online Undergraduate Degree Completion Program (UDCP)
The UDCP is a unique opportunity to develop a thorough understanding of the humanities, the social sciences, and the fundamentals of natural science—disciplines that are highly valued in today’s business climate, where success often depends on interpersonal awareness, critical thinking skills, and human factors. Students who complete the sixteen courses that comprise the UDCP will graduate from Boston University with a Bachelor of Liberal Studies in Interdisciplinary Studies. To apply for the UDCP, you should have completed 52-64 transferable credits from regionally accredited institutions including the equivalent of a freshman-level English writing course and a college-level course in mathematics or a related quantitative area.
