Military Courses and Training Credits
Saint Leo University accepts up to 39 credits for military courses and training as long as these credits are earned or validated by the National Guide to Educational Credit for Training programs published by the American Council on Education (ACE) and/or the Guide to the Evaluation of Educational Experiences in the Armed Services.
Class Format/Schedules:
St. Leo University Online offers classes that can be completed 100% online. All online students take a free orientation called “SLU 101: Strategies for Success.” Each class has a syllabus that includes all assignments, learning goals, and grading criteria. Learning media include video, audio, CD-ROM, and textbook formats. You can purchase textbooks online or from any bookseller you choose. The online classrooms simulate a traditional campus environment with message board discussions.
An online portal called WebAdvisor leads to the administrative database that offers real-time information about class schedules, grades, financial aid, policies and documents, and tuition and payment. To take classes, you need a computer—PC or Mac—with a reliable Internet connection, up-to-date web browser, and CD/DVD drive.

Tuition:
All Associate & Bachelor’s Degrees are $470 per credit hour
Active Duty Military receive a discounted rate of $250 per credit hour
Graduate degree courses range from $395 to $630 per credit hour
Experience Credit :
Police, nursing, and other career training courses of more than 40 hours will be evaluated and a maximum of 24 credits can be awarded. Formal educational programs and courses sponsored by corporations and non-collegiate organizations may also be considered.
